Hi Everyone-
After much consideration and debating, we have decided to change a couple of our poker chip policies. These changes are being made with one thing in mind, to be able to better service our customers. The changes are as follows:
Original policy: No minimum order on custom poker chips
New policy: 25 chip minimum, minimum 10 chips per design
Reasoning: Extremely small chip orders actually take a much larger than normal amount of time to do. These very small orders end up delaying larger orders, and our goal is to get orders done as quickly as possible so you can have the chips in your hands quickly!
Original policy: No artwork fees
New policy: No artwork or setup fees for artwork ready to print, other artwork will be quoted on a case to case basis.
Reasoning: If artwork is ready to print, there is no reason to charge any setup fees. If there is no artwork ready, there is most likely a large amount of time required to get the artwork just right. We have tried to match up customers with artists who could best meet the ideas in mind, but this has been a difficult and inconsistent way to meet customers' needs. By requiring payment for artwork, we can get quicker, more reliable results from the artists we work with, and we will not spend weeks or months working on artwork only to have the customer disappear, and we have received nothing for all the work that has been done.
Original Policy: Prototype chips (with printed edges) made at single chip pricing of $3.29 each, shipping $5.95 for up to 29 chips.
New Policy:
If you are ordering custom poker chips, we do recommend prototype chips to ensure that the artwork transitions to the chips just as you had in mind. We offer two prototyping options. The first option is that we will print chip faces only, and ship the prototype chips to you. The cost for these prototypes is $1.25 per chip. There is no minimum quantity required. Shipping for the prototypes is $5.95, regardless of quantity.
The second prototyping option is that we will print faces only, photograph the chips, and email the photo to you. This option is done at no charge, but must be requested when you place your order.
