Chips: 16 | | | Has anyone purchased a Pharaoh's Dealer Button / Coaster? These look incredible but I wanted to hear what CT members who bought them think. Anyone buy one and be willing to share your opinion? I'd love to hear from you before I buy one. Great designs, by the way! |

I've got a coaster set of 'Thirsty Stone' coasters which have a porous surface, allowing for absorbance of condensation roll-off.
Are these ceramic coasters like porcelain tiles; with a glass-glazed (sealed) surface? If this is the case then just like a ceramic tile, wouldn't this prevent any liquid penetration, and after the drinking glass sweats enough wouldn't water tend to pool until it runs off and onto the table surface.
I guess what I'm wondering is: are these coasters absorbant? |

The coasters are indeed glazed, and are not absorbant. Liquid does tend to bead up on the surface, but if there is a lot of liquid, it will eventually slide off. Personally, I like these better as dealer buttons than coasters, but then, I've never been the type to use a coaster!
Thanks,

Would it be possible to get one of these in the more traditional 2" dealer button size?
2.5" would be good also, I guess.

Unfortunately, we don't have smaller size buttons available at this point. Hopefully we will at some time!
Thanks,

Thanks,
Gene | Gene,
Please PM me if/when you have the smaller size available; this would be an instant buy for me.
Absolutely beautiful work, just need the smaller size.
