ABC Custom Poker Chips Sample Sets Now Available!

We made an agreement with the artist for the Death Head, WPC (Jokers and Celtic Hounds) to be able to use the artwork as a stock set. We never make any customers' chips available to others without their permission.

Along those lines, we are always looking for really good artwork that we can offer as a "semi-custom" stock design...where we can change text/colors/etc. I tried to get permission from Elite to use his artwork (which was created by Johnny5 for him), but my offer wasn't persuasive enough!

Are you trying to make me feel bad for wanting a set of chips that are unique? Because if you are it's working...

Just so I can make myself clear, the reason I really didn't want to release this design for mass-production was because although J5 did do most of the graphical work on these chips and came up with the original mock-ups, I did have a fairly good amount of input on how the chips ended up (we went through numerous revisions). Don't get me wrong I couldn't have gotten even close to making these chips without J5 but the same is probably true for him. These chips would not look the same if I had just sent him some $ and waited for them to get done. Make sense? I feel like they are my babies...

Why do I feel like a real @**hole now...

Hi Elite-

I'm actually more upset that my lousy fantasy football team only tied yours! Good for nothing Janikowski couldn't even get thrown in for a field goal at the end so it wouldn't be a shutout!

Heck, if those were my chips, I wouldn't let'em out either!

By the way...one of these months I'm going to make it over to your place to see them in action!

Don't feel bad ..I completely understand and respect your decision..
Those are the best looking chips I've seen..thats all...But you at least must be flattered that they are so well thought of. I truly don't know what I would say myself if they were mine. But since I can't get them, I also will have a set that's truly unique also ..So I guess I should thank you...Thanks

got mine yesterday. AWESOME !! great assortment of samples (one of each type in smooth AND textured) plus the great test chips to show afew fonts and sizes. some of the nicest colors i've seen. an amazing job on lining up the edges too. don't have a scale, but they feel right around 10g's. remarkable job of centering the print on the rolling edge too. can't really compare the mto any of the others because they kind of have a feel all of their own. they do seem to have a bit sharper edges than the others, but still shuffle very easily. i like the sharper edges because i think it makes them look better stacked. i think i like the smooth better for some reason. i will say this...if you're primary concern is great looking chips with awesome detail, i'd choose these over chipco because they seem to be the same as far as sharpness, but these blow away the competition for lining up spots and printing on the rolling edge.

i highly recommend getting some samples to see for yourself. especially to see the "death heads". you won't believe how great the skulls on the edge looks. FINE JOB GENE !

I wonder if there is any chance of a color wheel chip being added to the sample set? I would love to see the shades of the standard chip colors as they would actually appear on a the chip.
