From the scans plus the written description of the differences, I'm leaning toward textured. However, I'd like to check out both in sample sets to be sure.

Just got back from vacation, the replacement card guards are great gene, in fact they came the night before I left and I used it at the poker room in Florida got a lot of nice comments.
