Unfortunately, it looks like they are paper (Midnight Card Co. Behind Krystle Lane), I quote from the page
"The ORNATE Playing Cards are printed by the U.S. Playing Card Company on their Bee Card Stock with Magic Finish".

I've seen this on a number of Kickstarter projects, they have some fantastic ideas for new cards and then go get them printed on USPC paper cardstock. I don't understand why people who want to create some beautiful cards don't take the time to research what it would take to make them last.

I remember growing up with my parents playing bridge with great looking KEM decks. They could play the heck out of them, and they still look good after 20+ years.

Looks like these are being produced on the Bee card stock (Magic finish ?).
No plastic I guess.

I was thinking the same thing been looking at the Venerati's ALOT lately but I CAN'T STOP STARING at these beauties! I should probably just save my pennies for a Chip Room sale
