My personal opinion is that the cards on the chip and the est. 2011 do no good and actually hurt the design concept.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rendition without the cards and the denom moved to the middle of the bottom half as well...

i find it kind of distracting.
having the suits repeat is not a good idea. i like a little bit of parallel structure, and the nitpicker in me would find this annoying.
having base colours used as font colours or similar shades used on other chips is distracting.

please don't take the criticism badly. i suck at design and everything to do with art, but perhaps my feedback can help you improve it.

I do think the desing looks like a cheep dice chip lable. I would take out the playing cards. I dont mind the date, but having under the Denom's might me a good place.
