1/4 Pie Name Needed

I originally posted these as "Garden Casino" but as one member pointed out they aren't very "gardeny". I have been struggling to come up with a name and was hoping that maybe someone here might be more inspired than I have been so far.

If we choose your name I don't really have much to offer in way of prizes or anything. Perhaps a sample set of the "" chips?
EDIT: I was asked to clarify the aforementioned "we"... the decision making panel will be comprised of myself and my girlfriend.

Let me know what you think.

Here are the latest mock-ups ...

But better yet ... here are the prototypes!!

I am considering these design 99% complete, although there are few points of "tweekage". I would welcome any constructive feedback as well!!

Thanks!

EDIT
I wish I had thought to mention this earlier but maybe it will help with ideas. I have listed below the things I am considering when I look at the names.

1. coolness - just gotta sound cool
2. fit - does the name fit the design style
3. Story - I would like to build a story or associate it to a story. Not a novel, just a brief passage. Something to give the chip more 'dimension'. Whether fun and whimsical or dark and forbidding ... ehhh ... doesn't matter as much, but SOMETHING.

Re: 1/4 Pie Name Needed

Why is the snapper the only one without the cog faux inlay?

I'm thinking of a name...

Re: 1/4 Pie Name Needed

The whole pink $2.50 thing came from when I heard about these "Pink Chip Games" where the only chip in play is a pink $2.50 chip, and they push these huge stacks all over the table (ahhh Nirvana) ... anyway ... the thought process is since the chip would be the only chip on the table it could be different from the others and didn't have to fit neatly into some design progression.

May not be the best thought process ... but it's the one I followed.

These chips, when completely ready for prime-time, will be fairly customizable so a pink chip with cog inlay and different denomination won't necessarily be out of the question.

Re: 1/4 Pie Name Needed

Is there a chip called "The Aficionado"? If not, I think it is a classy name. Or Club Aficionado. Or something along those lines...

And what is the web site printed on the chips. I can't quite make it out. www.________.net

Re: 1/4 Pie Name Needed

Besides the fact that I just love your designs, the outcome as samples is absolutely great.

It's astonishing how well also the thin lines come out and everything.

On how many dpi do you create those mock-ups ?

For the name:
I really go with wafflestomper here "The Aficionado" sounds great. (don't have a clue what it means though) I would place that on top of the ship and something like "Resort and Casino" on the bottom. Use the banner to place that resort on the Bahamas or elsewhere. "XYZ, Bahamas"

That could be great and very imaginative.

EDIT:
I guess you took it from the picasso, very fitting, as they came out like a fine piece of art.

Pils

Re: 1/4 Pie Name Needed

I've said it before you definitely have a style, I can pick your chip design out from the rest.

You definitely make use of the Cog and sunburst/spiral affect in your design.

I'm guessing you're a big fan of both patterns, you must have like a ton of shirts and flyer's or advertisements or prints with these elements in them.

There is a lot going on....it's really hard to come up with a name, it looks very constructive and busy. I can't keep my eye focused...It keeps jumping from one image to another and then trying to read the text is hard.

It's also tough because you have modern elements mixed with classic type.

For some odd reason I just thought of "Barcelona" (like the chair)
I keep saying "element" in my description that fits too

Re: 1/4 Pie Name Needed

Because of the cog theme how about:
The Coherence Casino?

ehhh, even I don't like the that much.

Chips look sweet though.
