that is true. only if the winner asks to see the folded hand, and it's actually the winner even if it's touched the muck to be killed it is now a live hand and wins the pot. if anyone else asks to see it, it's still dead.

if the bettor folds, then the caller wins, and nobody has to show. tournament is different.
