Pocket Ts at the 1-3 at the Wynn. I've been raising a lot from position and I'm in the cut-off with ~ $280.
I've been playing a lot of hands and most of them by raising unopened pots. The button has $360 and is definitely onto my little game. He's seen me rob this table blind and I can tell he's getting frustrated by the way hes been mucking his cards. Hes not agro or saying anything to me, but I know hes picked me off.
One of the habits I have is to watch a few players behind me and this rare time the button checked his hole cards before me and I see him grab a chip as if he is going to call.
I make it $12 like every other raise I've made. The button immediately jams to $30. Sensing a little baloney I call.
Flop KJ9 with two clubs
I Check, He insta-shoves.
It's important to note that I'm getting the feeling of personal aggression here. I feel in my bones he is challenging me.
I go into the tank and teeter on folding because it's just so dang expensive. I don't feel I'm beat, I just feel pressure.
Finally I decide to call.
He looks at me and sighs out a whispy... "good call". He shows A3 of clubs.
The turn is a Q that gives me a straight and the river is a Q of clubs!

He says to me... "I was just trying to slow you down."
He ended up giving me some respect for the rest of our time at the Wynn and we had a couple of laughs. I ran into him again at Caesars and took a seat to his immediate left.
