I'm not sure if I like the stone or not. I think I could go either way with it...
I like the quote taking up the entire back instead of it having to share the back with another element. I still think I'd like a different font, but I don't know what that would be...
You could use a drop shadow to make the letters stand out more maybe. |
After some consideration I will go without the stone. It takes out a bit of the classy look it has at the moment.
Also I tried the drop-shadow on the wisdom-texts on the back. It's not a spectacular effect, but with very few distance it works well to set apart the text from the background well enough. I also reduced the "see through" effect on the texts to make them stand out more clearly.
Next step is the inlay colour. I've made three variants.
No.1: same as before
No.2: one part of the dragon get's brighter to make the colours shine more when the chip is printed. (they tend to darken when printed)
No.3: both dragon parts bright to really let the colours shine and to have a chip I can compare to the other variants when printed.
What do you guys think is the right direction for the inlay-colours. Bright tones, great contrats or the more shadened colours of No.1
Cheers,
Pils
