25 x $1
5 x $5
2 x $25

50 x $1 ($50)

Too many $1 ??? |
I personally think that is too many $1s, but its really up to you. Realistically, how much do you use $1s in a 1/2 NL game? other than the blinds, I'd wager that most of your bets are over $5 or $10... which I'd rather have my players use 2 $5s instead of 10 $1s.
Do you buyin for $100? $300? If you buy in for $100, you only have 9 buyins... and obviously only 3 buyins if you start with $300.
It really depends on how many extra buyins you want to have and how much you start with. I'd personally prefer to trade off the amount of $1s for a larger total value of my bank.
But, again.... its really up to you. Only you know the makeup of your game.
Edit: I just noticed.... welcome! You have found a fantastic board full of great info. However, one warning: Check your wallet at the door, if you get involved here you won't be needing it anymore
