Re: Sun Tzu -Art of War- Mockups

I really like the design. I'll comment more on that in a minute.

I really don't like the 2 different sides: 1 cash, 1 tourney. I'd make it either a tourney set or a cash set, or 2 different sets, one of each, but not both types on one chip.

The design around the rim of the face is excellent, and really fits the theme. The front (or tourney) side looks a bit brighter which I think looks better. I'd make both sides that bright.

The font is a little difficult to read. I think I'd prefer something cleaner and less "cartoonish".

I really like the edges and how it looks recessed. Very nice. I like the font used for the denominations, and I like that you didn't put a dollar sign on it. The wood grain looks great. I'd remove the embossing that you put on the edge of the faces to make it look rounded. I don't think it would work well on a chip that wasn't indeed rounded, and if it was rounded, it would already have that effect. I would also get rid of "tournament", "cash game", "no cash value", and "the art of war" on the right side of the chip (as well as the rectangles those words are sitting on). I feel like it takes away from the great artwork behind it.

I'm not sure how I feel about the quotes from the Art of War. I think I could keep them or leave them. I'm just not sure... Maybe in a different cleaner more classy font I'd like it more.

Overall, the chips are great and I think you could win a contest with them. The thoughts and comments are just what I would do with the chips if they were my design. Nice work!
