| Re: Explain Chinese Poker to me Not always, if you don't have any really strong hands it's often best to try to maximize your top 3-card hand so as to not be swept since that is costly. For instance - If I have a full boat plus 2 pairs only, I might want to take trips on the bottom and two pair in the middle with my biggest pair on top. The middle and bottom are likely to get beat, but the top hand is likely to hold up. Quote:
