| Re: Bellagio, Las Vegas, NV - New rack (in phases) Pros
- The house mold is now a nice part of the design
- The edgespots actually look nice, as opposed to the bleeding, boring white specks.
- The denoms are not so horsey anymore--they're more appropriately sized, more visually centered, and I prefer the new font to the old one. I also like the size relationship between number/dollar sign much better.
Cons
- The background "B" is a little busy and unnecessary. I can see why they would attempt to consolidate different chip lines, but this just doesn't quite work.
- Color-matching is gone. Makes them easier to produce, but less visually interesting. Maybe they should have just taken the type/denom elements, kept them on the white inlay (with gradient).
Sneh
- Did they need to add the denom spelled out? I wouldn't have bothered, but at least they made it look good.
- City tucked under the name--again, not my choice, but not badly done.
- Dark inlay--I generally like dark inlays, but this one being grey seems a little scared to commit. Meh.
