| Lone Star Roundup Heads-up Event Structure Following Andi’s lead, for those who might be interested, here is the structure we will be using for the "ChipTalk Lone Star Roundup" Heads-up Tournament. Event: No-Limit Texas Hold'Em, Single Elimination, Heads-Up Tourney Buy-in: $15 Payout: 45%, 28%, 17%, 10%. A consolation match will be played at the same time as the championship match to determine 3rd & 4th place. Max Field: 16 Min Field: 8 Seeding: Players will draw cards for seeding. Some players may get 1st round byes (if there are less than 16 players). If necessary, redraws will be held before the start to ensure no player gets a 2nd round bye. Starting Stacks: (for all rounds): 3500 Color-ups: No color-ups. Chips will be re-set at 3500 for each round. Blinds (for all rounds): 1. 25-50 – 15MIN 2. 50-100 – 15MIN 3. 75-150 – 15MIN 4. 100-200 – 15MIN 5. 150-300 – 10MIN 6. 200-400 – 10MIN 7. 300-600 – 10MIN 8. 600-1200 – 10MIN 9. 1000-2000 – To end of match. Blinds for the next hand are determined at the time the winner of a hand has been determined (not after posting and rifling). At the beginning of each round the blinds will be re-set to 25-50. Dealing- first deal: Players will draw cards to determine who is dealer for the first hand. High card wins. Ties redraw. Dealing- multiple decks: Each match will have 2 decks. Players can agree to let each other shuffle and cut their deal. Without such an agreement, the dealer should offer the other player the option to cut the deck. Standard NLTH rules apply regarding betting, etc. A 30 second clock will be used when time is called on a player. A hand which is shown before the showdown is considered dead. If we have 8 players, we will play this as a double-elimination tournament to allow for more play.
