While I'm no Rizzo, I do collect other things too. Most notably corkscrews and Jimmy Buffett records and CDs (DVDS and other collectibles too).
I got interested in corkscrews through poker. For years we played at one friend's house every Tuesday night. The only Tuesday we didn't have a game was at Christmas. If he went on vacation, one of the players house sat and the game went on. He had his late grandfather's antique Zig Zag corkscrew - what a cool item. I had to get one, and the rest is history!
As a big parrothead I started collecting his records and CDs. I have an original vinyl version of Down to Earth (one of only 500 pressed, I believe) and some very rare CDs. I have about 160 CDs and God knows how many records, cassettes and even 8-track tapes.
I don't have any photos but maybe I'll take some and return to add them.
When I was in university and for a few years after, I collected beer bottles and built up quite a collection. I learned, however, after getting married, that the fairer sex does not seem to accept the value of shelves filled with beer bottles as a decorating option and they now languish in my parents' basement.
