| Re: Home game Win and run. for the record, these hit and runs don't cost the game money, or really matter in any way.
let's say i came to your game with this "tactic" in mind. first off, if i'm good enough to beat the game, then the longer i play the more i'd win. it wouldn't ever be in my interest to leave...unless i'm no longer a favorite. and if i hit and ran, it wouldn't matter b/c i'll just show up next week and most likely win some more.
if i'm a breakeven player, it doesn't work either. over any given period of time, i'd be equally likely to win or lose money, right? so if i leave small winner (let's say $10 over an hour), i'd still be just as likely to lose that back in the first 2 hours next week. why does it matter if i lose it now or next week?
if i'm a below average player, then you should be happy that i'm even there. i have to go home winner once in a while so that i can keep coming back and giving you guys all my money.
this anaconda story...wtf? is he unbeatable at this game? can't you guys also go low? why in the world would choosing that game be some sort of edge for him? btw, i love anaconda (philly and w16227 can attest to that), but i don't think that the dealer has any sort of edge. |
