Questions: did the original chips have a hot stamp (I assume so since you said they were roulette chips). Assuming they did have a hot stamp did you sand the stamp down before you labeled them?

The chips did have hotstamps, but the yellow, green and orange chips were so used that the remaining stamps pretty much came off during the cleaning. They were dirrrrrty! (Pic taken by the seller.)
I've used non-acetone nail polish remover on the brown chips, but contrary to what I've read here, even that will dissolve the chip so one has to be careful when doing that. I might give sanding a try for the remaining brown chips.
