My biggest concern is that the end result is a set of chip options that everyone can build a set from. It seems like we at chiptalk have wanted and asked for and waited for this option from Michael, and now that we have it, we need to recognize that it has to be a money maker for him.

For me, the existing options have already given me enough choice to build a set from. I've been participating mostly because it's fun for me, but I do worry that by participating I may have undue influence on someone else's options. That said, without our input, you're kind of stymied.

I guess I would implore everyone to be forthcoming about their interest level, their relative satisfaction with the choices, and whether any dissatisfactions with certain chip options would result in their not buying a set at all.

My guess is that this is the kind of "one time" opportunity (similar to the infamous TRK group buy) that many people will take advantage of. If that is going to be the case, again I would implore folks not to be so shy about their preferences and their reasons.
