Sometimes the 4T18 looks cluttered, and the 3T18 cleaner. I have noticed that too. Here I think either works and the 4T18 doesn't look so bad, but I would pick one or the other depending on where the chip might go so that sets of 3's and 4's and 6's will not be next to one another in the usual chip progressions (cali, traditional, etc).
