Re: TMSC Round #1 - "Green" Poll

Shebert Green is one of my three favorite BCC colors. Certainly that final choice (Shebert with a side of Greens) is well worth picking.

You know, I still think I like that "mixed greens" quarter pie chip better with day(glo) green rather than sherbet, as in this mock-up:

Still a "mixed greens" chip, but with a little more substance.

I still like Shebert. You can't eat Day Glo can you? Well can you?

BTW we're not talking all 1/4 Pie right, I thought multiple spots is the order of the day.

I'm thinking it might be jdunford throwing out his subliminal hints/recommendations

IMO it doesn't work for me for a set. I'd like 1 or 2 chips out of the 10 to look that way, but definitely not a whole set. But hey, if that's what the people want, then that's what they want. I doubt it would happen, but who really knows at this point?

Re: TMSC Round #1 - "Green" Poll

Jeff - one thing I do like about your quarterpie mockup is how it's all monochromatic. I'm a big fan of monochromatic color schemes..

I can't stand some of these mockups where every chips has 3 randomly thrown together colors on it. My suggestions always have at least 1 monochromatic color on the chip (or white/black), sometimes with one other accent color (unless it's a white/black base chip, which those colors can go with a lot of things, IMO).

Re: TMSC Round #1 - "Green" Poll

Though it should be noted you can eat pie.

I prefer variety in spots, but it is an attractive set.

It would be a chip that is not like the normal green chips, and I really hope people see the great chips you've mocked up and vote for the sherbert with green edgespots. It's a great setup.
Agreed. I also suspect from the polling if Green with Gold and Chocolate + Green with Mustard and Adobe were on the same choice (as they're somewhat similar and both high in the polls, even though they don't share spot colours) that they'd be at or nearer the top of the poll.

All in all, given the split between dark green and sherbert green lovers, a 1/4-pie or 358 with sherbert green is probably the best compromise that will please most. Just my opinion though.

Regards,

David.

Re: TMSC Round #1 - "Green" Poll

F it.
I'd seriously buy 100's of the W orange w/ arc yellow and red pie and Dark blue three color 1/4 pie you already have mocked.
HOT
Like, NOW.

You have pointed out a fatal flaw in my mockups. ALL CHIPS MUST BE SHOWN AS QUARTER PIES..... I want a redo...

That whole top row is 'take me home now' time.

Re: TMSC Round #1 - "Green" Poll

Having a set with all 3-color 1/4 pies would be just SICK
