I'll refrain from complaining about getting sucked out with AA in a live tourney this weekend to ultimately finish last...
Instead, I'll tell you how I got a little revenge today at lunch, thanks to some help from ChipTalk.net re: suited connectors (see this thread:
http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/cash-g...onnectors.html).
I don't have the HH (P*), but here's what happened. Cash game, 10¢/25¢, 6-max, and I'm 4-tabling so I'm very tight (basically, I play AA-TT, AK, AQs... that's about it). Everybody at the table has around $25-$30, except a couple of players have ~ $50.
I'm on the button and have

.
Limped around to the cut-off who min-raises to 50¢.
I decide, "you know, I'm probably playing too tight. This is normally an auto-fold for me, but 'what the heck', I'll play them this time and see what happens." I call.
SB calls.
BB min-reraises to 75¢.
Folded around to the cut-off, who min-reraises to $1.
I'm getting nearly as good of odds as before (and against fewer opponents), so I call.
SB calls.
BB re-raises to $2.
Cut-off calls.
Only the SB to act behind me, and so far he's only been calling, so I take that chance and call.
SB calls.
4 players, > $8 in the pot.
Flop is

.
Jackpot! Now I just have to hope nobody has AsKs (because they WILL hit if I'm in the hand, guaranteed).
SB checks.
BB bets 50¢ (into an $8 pot? What is he thinking?)
Cut-off raises to $1.
I reraise to $10.
SB calls.
BB reraises all-in (~ $30).
Cut-off folds.
I go all-in (only had about $15 left).
SB calls all-in.
I don't remember what the turn and river were, but in the end, SB had KK, BB had AA, and I took it down with the nut straight (and yes, a spade made the flush possible, but nobody had it).
Woohoo!!! I cracked AA and KK with 56s for a $60 pot! Weee!! Makes me feel much better about the weekend.
This of course was followed by a lot of comments that looked like "*****", to which I replied, "Woohoo! I just made the donkey play of the century!"
And I felt good about it.
