As many of you know by now, the CC>CC, Inc. annually conducts a Convention in concert with their annual Business Meeting. A major part of that Convention is the Bourse Floor where nearly 100 Vendors, Suppliers and Dealers of Casino Collectible-related items show and sell their wares.
Any member of the CC>CC (in good standing) is permitted to apply for a Dealer's Table(s) (yes, there is a fee) and businesses (that have an individual membership) can also apply for a Dealer's Table(s).
Re-printed here are the specifics pertaining to costs and responsibilities of having a Dealer's Table(s) at the Convention and I encourage anyone interested (and qualified) consider contacting the Convention Co-Chairs with any questions or comments.
As per the contracts that we sent out earlier in the week, here you go: - 1 standard dealer table - $295.00
- 1 corner dealer table - $495.00
- 1 Display case - $ 15.00
- 1 Electrical Access Charge - $ 68.50
General rules and information: - All dealers from last year's convention should be receiving the contracts in short order. As of the January 31,2008 cutoff date, any remaining spots will be offered to those people on the waiting list, and then to previous dealers not on the mailing list.
- Dealer table fees include 2 dealer badges per regular table and 3 per corner table. One complimentary pre-registration packet will be included per dealer contract for the contract-signing dealer. Table helpers will need to order their own pre registration packets if they want to (show admission is included with a dealer badge for the dealers and authorized helpers).
- No dealer may sell, rent, loan or lease any table without our prior approval.
- The club reserves the right to require all dealers to stay at the Riviera if it is necessary to meet our minumum number of room nights.
- Regarding electric: If the electrical access charge is not paid, dealers may provide their own battery-operated lamps (dry cell). Wet cell batteries and other power-generating equipment is strictly prohibited and puts us at risk of the show being shut down by the Fire Marshal.
Any dealer found to be using a nearby electrical receptacle will be billed $68.50 by the club, and will have their badge revoked for the duration of the convention and may be denied space at future conventions. This applies to any dealer who sells, rents, loans or leases his or her table without our prior approval as well. These fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable. Any further questions by dealers should be submitted to us in writing, either at our mailing address or via email to: convention@ccgtcc.com . Anyone who is interested in the club's income/expense statement (handed out at the business meeting) should contact the proper BOD member. Hope this answers your question. Important information for the dealers and members regarding the show, security measures and other issues will be posted shortly. Also, please look for our convention article in the upcoming club magazine for further details.
