These plaques come as a set of 60 with a case. They are just like the dice chips because they are the same material and have a similar designs. Like dice chips being some of the cheapest chips known, these plaques are some of the least expensive plaques I've seen.

Since they are made from the same material as dice chips, they have the same slick feel as dice chips. They have a heavy feel (33g); they are heavier than they look. Since they are so heavy, they don't feel as cheap as dice chips.
For Plaques, they are rather easily to shuffle. In comparison to regular chips, I think they're easier to shuffle. Chips have a tendency to fall when shuffling; plaques don't have the tendency to fall off the top of the stack.
Although they have a slick feel, the weight prevents them from sliding off each other.
Padded surface - All 60 will have a wobbly stack. A comfortable stack will be 25-30 plaques.Hard surface - All 60 will stack with very little wobbling. A comfortable stack will be 35-40 plaques.This is all 60 plaques stacked on a padded surface.
The sound is the biggest downside. Since they have a metal insert, they have a very loud clanking sound when they hit against each other or a hard surface. They still clank when you stack them. Even if you stack them gently, they will still clank a little. Also, when shuffling, they will still sound the same.
Suits are located in the 4 corners. Die are located on the edges in between the suits. And there is a flat recessed area great for stamping (The place I bought them from doesn't do hot stamping).
They measure 68mm x 44mm. The lower-left picture shows that the width of a plaque is bigger than a chip and that the length of a plaque is smaller the the length of two chips. So you can't put two stacks of chips on one plaque, but you can put one stack on one plaque (pictured lower-right).
I wouldn't say these plaques are very common. I've only seen this set at this Ebay store. So I would say these plaques would be very secure to bring into your home game.
The closest I've seen to these plaques are on this Swedish site here. I've never owned these ones to say they are the same, but they are 5 mm wider. This site has a few different color selections. I believe it is a little bit more expensive here too. Also, you don't get the nice compact case when you buy them from here.
I've played with them a few times, and they have very few scratches. Although they are durable, they are getting dirty fairly easily.

If you are still an owner of dice or suited chips, these plaques match very well. They would be a great addition as a high denomination to your set. They are by far the best deal on plaques I've ever seen.
