Re: 10g Faux Clay chips
Faux Clay
Purchased from:
Discount Casino Gear
Price: $0.045 per chip
Many say these are the best deal on poker chips. However, there are only two colors left: white and red. Now if you want to buy a set of these, you have to buy some extinct (not in stores anymore) faux clays from other members of this forum. This may cost about $.25 per chip. So now the bargain isn't so great anymore.
Other alternative for getting a faux clay set is by dyeing white chips to your desired colors. This isn't too bad, buy I'd still prefer to have original un-dyed faux clay chips.
Pros:
Feel & Sound: Just like the high quality clay chips.
Stacking: I've stacked 160 and could have easily done more.
Durability: Very durable. However, I've noticed they are capable of wear-and-tear.
Inexpensive: Only $.045 each for the available colors: red and white.
Cons:
Minor inconsistency: Since these chips are difficult to get, you may have to buy them from multiple users. I've had some color variance between chips when I've done this.
Availability: Only red and white remain in stock. You may check and see how many are in stock by going to
5stardeal
and entering large numbers into your cart. You will get a message saying how many they have left in stock.
Looks: The dice design and injection mold pimple aren't very attractive.
