Definitely a string bet. That would not be allow in any public poker room or at my home game. If it was at your game, you shouldn't allow it but if it was at someone else's place and they let it go, I wouldn't compain too much. It is their game and their rules.

It is the movies that confuse most people as it is done all the time in the movies.
