First, let me be clear that the chips provided by Steve are OUTSTANDING - this whole deal is MY FAULT.
Okay, by now everyone knows the saga of my Austin Skyline chips.
So I finally received my set this week, and much to my dismay, due to a design issue by yours truly, I'm finding myself only about 70% satisfied with my "dream set." I designed the edgespots as a "floating edge," to have some of the base color above and below the spots.
The prototypes that I received were printed full depth - not floating and looked perfect to me. I knew going in that there would be vertical variance, and didn't consider changing the design because I thought it was what I wanted.
I was wrong.
The floating edge doesn't work for my eye. They look fine, mind you - just not what my dream had in mind.
Now I'm on a quest to have my set redone, but I obviously can't just exchange these. Steve w/ BRPro has made me a very generous offer on replacing the set, but that means I need to sell these to finance it.
What does this mean to you? It means that if you've been eyeing the Skylines, you have the opportunity for a steal of a deal.
So, to all my chip friends out there - please help me in my endeavor to get what truly will be my dream set of ceramics!!
The breakdown is as follows:
Red 5 - 270 (5 were damaged in shipping)
Green 25 - 300
Black 100 - 300
Purple 500 - 175
Yellow 1000 - 100
Blue 5000 - 50
TOTAL Chips - 1195
COST: $520 shipped (U.S. only) - that's 43.5 cents per chip - you would pay $.62/chip to buy directly from BRPro BR Pro Poker - Skyline Ceramic Poker Chips
I will consider breaking up the set, but only as a "group buy." I have to sell them all.
