I think the point is that the only thing calling now are hands that are beating him. I guess maybe a horribly played KK with the K of spades might call that river. But when that card drops on the turn I'm just c/c'ing a small bet with my AA, and then hoping I spike a spade on the turn. I'm certainly not bet, 3-bet shoving with a pair on a 4-straight board that is 3-flush. What worse hand is ever calling my shove? But every straight, set, and flush are insta-calling me and stacking me about 85% of the time.
it doesn't matter what the outcome is, that is how not to play AA.
