Hello,
I've just received my first order of ASM customs.
I ordered 1000 chips. I received 26 extras for a total of 1026. They were not oiled, so I have done that over the last few nights and inspected them during that time.
Of the chips I received, 8 chips had problems with the mold or inlay. That should have been no problem, as there were some extras. However, there were 40 spinners. Of the 100 ordered T$1000 chips, 35 had defects in the edge spots (see picture). Of the 30 Bounty chips I ordered all but 9 had defects in the edge spot (see pictures).
As a final count, I have 196 (of 200) T$25, 352 (of 370) T$100, 295 (of 300) T$500, 65 (of 100) T$1000 and 9 (of 30) Bounty Chips.
Additionally, there seems to be quite a bit of difference in the thickness of the chips. In some stacks there is almost a 1 chip difference in the size of a 20-chip stack.
However, I'm wondering is this experience unusual? I'm most concerned about the edgespots. That detracts from the attractiveness of the stacked chips IMO and there aren't spinner/extras to replace them. The spinners sort of suck because stacking the chips is a little less stable. The difference in thickness is wierd, as it is only noticable when you stack in 20-chip stacks.
Feedback anyone?
