| Re: how would you play this hand you had three kings with a horrible kicker, you can't beat anything, you can only hope to tie a hand like your own. I would've hesitated and thought about all the hands that would check-call the flop and check-raise the turn.
33, 99, K9, K3, KT, KJ, KQ are all hands that could beat you. like you said, though, you were playing the man and his tendencies, more than his possible holdings. you could've just called and if he bets the river, you could feel better about a fold. his reraise on the turn should've slowed you down, because there are so many hands you can't beat. it's hard to play against very loose and aggressive players sometimes, but they make hands, too, and you can't get too carried away with your own holdings. |
