| Re: I need Cash game set up help! The most common
5c- this chip doesnt get used a lot so it is absolutely your choice, no standard
25c- often grey, blue, or white, depending on the $1 color, again no standard
$1- blue or white pretty much
$5- red of some kind
Now the breakdowns. For .05-.10 games with a $10 buyin:
20x .05
16x .25
5x $1
41 chips worth $10. For anything more than that use additional $1 and $5 chips. Now for 10 players you will need:
200 5-cent chips
160 25c chips
150 $1 chips
40 $5 chips
550 chips with a total value of $400. This is $40 apiece for a ten-man game, so that should be plenty for .05-.10.
If you want to run .25-.50 games, bump up the number of quarters and dollars and add a few extra $5:
200 25c chips
200 $1 chips
100 $5 chips
500 chips with a total value of $750. This is $75 apiece for a ten-player game, which should be enough. You may even consider adding a few $20 chips just in case.
All in all I would recommend:
200 nickels, 200 quarters, 200 dollars, 100 fives, 25 twenties. That should be plenty to cover .05-.10 and .25-.50. |
