My feelings exactly - I've owned both brands also and ASM feel is excellent and far superior in my opinion. A bit crisp if you want soft feeling chips, but like buttah once they are broken in a little. Before anyone chimes in about spinners and popped inlays, I've had a total of 8 spinners in my custom set and no inlay has even shown a slight bubble as of yet on my H-molds.
And for me, I love the brass flakes in the clay.
With a set of 2000 custom H-molds with 10 different spot patterns I hate to disagree with Irish and say that I think there are more than enough spot options and colors to have a chip set anyone would envy. I know my buddies absolutely love my customs.
