This is how they do it at the local casino's I've played at. When the dealer starts dealing the next hand after you sit down they will ask if you want to be delt in now or wait for the button(you don't get the button you will be the CO). I'll usually get dealt in right away unless I'm within 2 or 3 spots of the BB.

Only on-line has I seen the must post a BB before getting dealt in.
