I agree about the flop - one high card comes out with those 3's and this hand probably gets a lot better

Yeah, it's really easy for me to say "raise the turn" when I'm not the one in the hand. When you're actually there, it's hard to feel like you won't scare him off. The way the hand played out, you probably won as much as you were going to (i.e. if you raised to $6, he might have called and check-folded the river).
