First of all Hi and welcome to chiptalk. You gain chips by posting in threads. However you do not always get a point for each post. Your post must contain information of value and not just be a comment in reaction to another post. you should also be aware that as a new member you may have certain restrictions on where you are able to post. In addition when you do post try to do it under the correct thread heading, if you do not it will cost you a chip because the modes have to spend time redirecting posts to the correct section.
