If you took all the permutations of edges and face artwork, certainly there would be too many choices to contemplate. But if you limited it to 6-8 artwork/edge combos it would be manageable. Personally, I think the original zen chip polls should have been done that way (rather than voting individually on inlays, base colors, edge spot colors, etc.) but that's just one man's opinion.
But please don't get the impression that I'm griping. Far from it. Choice is good!
