I've never done it in a home game, nor have I been in a home game where it was allowed. It always seems odd to me to do it. On HSP, usually the guy who says you want to run it twice is way behind, so it seems like the other guy would know he is in a good spot to win and would want to run it once and not let the gut off the hook. The again I have never had $100,000 riding on the outcome of the cards
