I agree that it's clearly not the same bear, even if it was mirrored to face the right way, and the font and font colour are different. However, I was under the impression (actually told by an ASM person a year ago) that no one could order the Teddy KGB chip colours and spots on the Roman mold. You either had to compromise on the mold, or compromise on the colours or spots, regardless of what inlay you used (even if it had nothing to do with a bear). That's because someone could easily label over the inlay and have themselves an exact replica that could be sold on eBay as the real thing.

The closest I'd ever seen was by Quad_Damage, who used a full-colour bear (but otherwise looked like the same bear, facing right) on the H-mold. He wasn't allowed to use the Roman mold, nor was he allowed to use the original bear even on the H-mold. At least, that's how I understood it.

I guess that's why some people seem upset about this. No one understands why you were able to make chips that no one else is allowed to make - especially when so many people have tried before you.
