Cash set for 3 different stakes
Hi,
I'm planning on getting a 500 chip set exclusively for cash games. No Limit 6 handed. I want to be able to play the following stakes:
$0.25 / $0.50
$0.50 / $1
$1/$2
I know this sounds kind of ambitious but I want to have my chip set as flexible as possible.
Here's my planned configuration:
150 x $0.25
150 x $1
150 x $5
50 x $25
To be distributed as follow (6 players / 100 big blinds each):
$0.25 / $0.50
==============
20 x $0.25
20 x $1
5 x $5
Total per player = $50
$0.50 / $1
==============
20 x $0.25
20 x $1
15 x $5
Total per player = $100
$1/$2
==============
25 x $1
25 x $5
2 x $25
Total per player = $200
I think I did a pretty good job on my configuration but I want to hear advice from the experts here before I shed up $600 on a set of chips. What most interests me is that the game runs smoothly without players constantly having to ask for change, but also without breaking my bank with a 1000 chip set. The most I'm willing to buy is 600.
Please share your opinions and help me with my decision. (At least I have a few weeks to think it through before the Samurais are in stock again).
Any input is highly appreciated.
