What's the Vegas color for .25

I've searched but couldn't find it. What is the Vegas color for a 25 cent (.25) chip? While we're at it, what about a $500 chip? I'm pretty sure the $1000 is yellow, right?

From Matthew's Chip Color/Breakdown article:

"Casinos rarely use a 25¢ chip, will sometimes use a 50¢ chip but will often use coins for those denominations. Most casinos have a $1 chip as their smallest value. The chip values and colors are classically:

50¢ – color varies but generally a plain chip with no edge spots
$1 – blue or white
$5 – red
$10 – blue
$25 – green
$100 – black
$500 – purple
$1,000 – yellow but varies
$5,000 – pink but varies
$10,000 – grey but varies

Please note: my recommendation is to use whatever colors you like for your game. Think of it as your casino with no pesky gaming commission to rule over you."

When they used to use them, many seemed to use pink for the 25c. I've also seen blue (assuming the $1 is white).

Most casinos have purple $500, and yellow $1,000. Quarters vary lot, I’ve seen grey, light green, pink, off-white. I don’t think there is a standard, in fact, I don’t think they are used much at all anymore.

When it comes to 25¢ chips, as Jambine pointed out, there really is no standard color used here in Las Vegas. Below is a list of the various colors used recently at casinos here & the surrounding area for 25¢ chips.

Golden Gate - Mustard
Hacienda (Boulder City) - Pink
Jokers Wild - Orange
Palace Station - Navy
Sunset Station - Light Blue
Sam's Town - Yellow
Main Street Station - Gray
California Hotel - White
Fitzgerald's - Green

Andy - Las Vegas

Re: What's the Vegas color for .25

If anyone cares, in AC 1000's are almost always orange and 5000's gray. Orange is probably the second most popular color for 1000's in LV. Someone on here did a survey of LV chip colors a while back that breaks things down really well. I'm lazy so happy searching.
