How many did you do at one time? I assume you didn't do all 200 in the same pot at the same time. Did you ever add kool aid between batches? They do seem to be a very consistent color for doing them in multiple batches. Do they just lay on the bottom like in the picture and you flip them every so often or do you consantly stir them?

I started with the steamer basket, flipping the chips, but quickly lost patience doing 10 chips at a time. I pulled out the steamer basket, threw 20 chips directly into the pot on low heat and stirred for 15 mins. They came out the same as those in the steamer basket. I did 30-40 at a time after that. Total time took around 2 hrs for 200 chips.

For some reason this makes me want to buy BOTH faux and blank white T molds to dye. expensive I know, but now I'm curious if I can make my own half pie T MOLDS!
