There have been several people asking about how to use inkscape to design poker chips and labels. I decided to do my first tutorial on how to use inkscape to do a really simple inlay design. This is on my home server behind a DSL line so please save it to your computer if you find it useful. (It's a PDF file so should open fine in acrobat). If I can figure out how to do a video capture I'll try and do that for the next one.
Thanks,

if you don't have inkscape, it's available here. |

There's a circle in there somewhere.
Is this some setting I accidentally toggled? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the entire program.
TIA |

TIA | One of the annoyances with inkscape (also one of the benifits) is that it remembers the color selections that you made previously.
With your object selected like it is, click on one of the colors down along the bottom and that should fill it in. Inkscape also does layering so you might want to try page up to bring your object towards the front (shouldn't matter here, but sometimes they get hidden). Let me know if it works or not.
