What might these Abbiati chips be worth?

Hi,

Not sure whether this thread should be in the M2M sales forum but just info required at this time.

I have 600 current Abbiati wheel check chips, all brand new (500 in original distribution plastic corrugated boxes) and I'm not sure what they might be worth. Can anyone enlighten me?

The 600 comprise:

300 cream
200 browny red
100 green

These have about 2 or 3 different logo designs on them (multi spoke star, circle/triangle and three diamond). The chips are mostly 2 designs I think, (blocks of 100 with same design and colour), with about 10 cream chips of the other design. They have a kind of smooth satin finish. Not sure what they are made of but they have more of a clack sound to them rather than any clink. Each chip weighs about 8.2g.

Examples of these chips can be seen at:
http://www.abbiati.com/Pagine/Products/Jetons/Wheel.htm

I will be looking to trade these chips at some point soon (UK resident) if indeed they are worth anything significant and someone wants them.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Martin

I've got about 4,000 of these also but mine aren't in as good condition as yours, I paid about £30 for the lot, I don't know if that's good or bad I'm afraid.

Re: What might these Abbiati chips be worth?

I have no idea what they are worth, but if you are thinking of a trade, you could post them in the "Want to Buy" forum, which is also for "Want to Trade" but NOT for sales for money. If you wanted to sell them, they would have to go in M2M, but offers to trade these for something should go in "Want to Buy."

And if, as hod implies, these are not worth much in actual money, you might do much better trading them for something. They look like nice chips -- perhaps someone in the UK (or EU) would be willing to do a swap.

Re: What might these Abbiati chips be worth?

Hi,

Thanks. Yes, I may try a trade - they are more roulette chips than poker but they are completely authentic, straight from the casino current products.

Cheers,
Martin
