Hosting your "Dream Game"....

Okay, I have been on here way to much lately I have looked at every thread and chip picture imaginable and I am tired of reading about PI and all the stuff he is into so I wanted to start a new thread to give me something to focus on while I treat the dyed fauxs badly....on a quick side note I am getting much better at shuffling!

Anyways, most of the people on this site host the games and they are not always what we hoped they would be. So the question is, what does hosting your "Dream Game" look like?

What would the players be like? LAG? Tight-weak? Dumb?

What kind of things would you use to amuse/entertain people? Is it just the cards or some kind of elaborate TV system?

What games would you spread? Cash? Tourney? HORSE? Dealer's Choice?

What would the chips you use be? Custom? Casino? Faux?

Where would you play? Garage? Basement? Outdoors?

What do you play on? Custom table? Casino Grade?

Re: Hosting your "Dream Game"....

My dream game would be playing my dad heads up at the kitchen table where I grew up. He passed away 11 years ago and it would kind of be like my 'Field of Dreams'. I know it's kind of sappy, but that's my answer.

Re: Hosting your "Dream Game"....

I play with a bunch of calling stations.

We did play in my dining room, but I am redoing the basement to be my game room (will post pics when done)

I have custom ceramics (sunfly), copas, modinos, and kems that we play with.

We play on one of the folding 10 man holdem tables.

My dream game would be in a much larger room with casino style tables with in table auto shufflers using kem casino backs.

For chips I would want some custom bud jones coin inlay.

Nothing sappy about that at all, it is definitely a good choice. Made me think of my dad right away though. He just had surgery for cancer and now might have a lump in his lung. Thanks for sharing that dream.

Re: Hosting your "Dream Game"....

I want to sit across from Andy Beal with a few racks of blue $1 chips. He has a few racks of $10k chips. We play chip for chip and I get to keep anything I win. You did say this was a dream game.
