1/2 NL at the Showboat in AC
Was a bit nervous, only bought in for the min, $60...45 min later cashed out with $105. I couldn't believe how manically loose it was; $15-$25 pre-flop raises were pretty common. The one time I was able to limp in for only $2 I had picked up the Ac Ts and hit two pair. Wound up raking in a pot of $105. Shortly there after I drew the line and cashed out when the $125-$150 all-ins started.
It was fun, but as others have suggested, I think next time Resorts might be more my speed, but all they were spreading was Limit when I was there.
Incidentally, I was concerned I was playing too loose. This was just the ticket to tighten me up
. It was small stakes compared to what some play, but it was a real good experience builder for me.
