Re: Moral dilemma, I Sold My Dice chips.
Yep. We started with quarters. Then I bought a set of diamonds and everyone was like, "These are cool. But do we need chips?" Then eventually I wanted to upgrade so I got some dice chips and gave the diamonds to my brother. Then last November it was time for the big leagues. Took $300 out of my bankroll and bought my new custom Chipcos. I love them sooooo much. But I might need to do an add-on.

I agree with Buzzer. And you shouldn't feel bad about taking the guy's money. I mean, it sounds like you did a full-fledged demonstration for him. If he just wanted some chips to fool around with or host an entry level type home game, I'm sure he's thrilled. Now he can have his game and you've made $30! It works out for everyone. Hopefully the guy will grow out of his newly acquired dice chips, but he may never. We play at a really good game twice a week with the crazy chips that are sorta like dice chips, but somehow seem worse. What makes it worse is that they guy always has a spread of snacks and drinks and the majority of people there are really good players. The game is too good not to get better chips. Every time we are on the way home, Harlequin tries to think of a new way to convince the host to buy better chips. I know this guy has been having his game for years and he's not budging.
