It's not the chips I'm really worried about, it's more the colors and the design.
It seems that some of these have like surface scrapes on the edges of the chips, and dirt has accumulated in some of those.
I picked out 10 chips at random, and left them to soak in dishwashing soap for 20 minutes, then scrubbed them with a toothbrush, rinsed, and let them dry. I put them next to a stack of 10 other chips, and really couldn't tell the difference. I then put them back into circulation with my other chips, and tried to pick out the 10 "clean" ones, which I couldn't do.
There's certain chips in this set that may be beyond cleaning. Some color transfer it looks like, and I'm not really sure if that's able to be taken off. This is the only really bad one in my batch of 100 T1000s
