| 1,000 Chip Set for Home Game Tournament I recently found a really nice four tone color chip set from ebay for a good price and has denominations of $1,$5,$25,$50,$100,$500,$1,000 available. The good thing i thought was with this set I can also use this for if we end up bumping up to a $1/$2 nl cash game level, this set could accomodate that play with the 1's, 5's and 25's. I wanted to be able to host tournaments with this set and i kind of proposed this breakdown to also accomodate the 1's for the my cash game, i wouldn't be using the $1's for tournament play.
100 $1's
250 $5's
150 $25's
150 $50's
200 $100's
100 $500's
50 $1,000's
Does anyone have any further advice on how to get the maximum value out of this set with these denominations and with my intentions. We'd probably have never anymore than 9 people playing a 1/2 game, plus i can even use the 5,25,and 50 as cents too, which right now we usually play a .25c/.50c cash game when we play ring style. Might have max 2 tables going for a tournament with probably 18 people max, mostly a single table tournament format of 8-11 players is a normal amount for me right now. |
