you want to raise to build the pot. your raise will go a long way towards getting your stack in (in case of a safe flop).

for instance...if you just call, the pot is $6. flop bet is 6, turn bet is 18, and river bet is $50 (assuming you bet the pot on every street).

if you reraise to $8, then the flop bets is 16, and basically all in on the turn.
considering how loose this guy is, i think you want to work on getting it in.
