When I first joined CT and got hooked on chips these were some of the first I purchased due to the low cost and high praise they received. I could not have been happier - I ended up adding to my set and I now have a huge toruney set (over 5000 chips) that can handle a big tourney. I am also a proud memebr of the FAUX CLAY NATION - VIVA FAUX CLAY!!!!!!!!!

Pros

• Cost - at around $.05 per chip shipped there are very few if any chips that can compete on price alone
• Feel - the feel of the Fuax Clay are as close to real clay as I have encountered
• Shuffling - the chips shuffle and "Warm up" essentially just like a real clay chip
• Stacking - The Faux Clay stack solid well over 50-60 chips high - the low price point also makes them great for having a ton of them so you can build great chip stack designs and towers
• indestructible - My chips have traveled with me a lot and get bounced around with no issue.
• Perfect for labeling or cold stamping

Cons

• limited production - These chips are not in endless supply. In fact there are now 4 colors that are extinct : Yellow, Orange, Grey, and most recently Purple
• Looks - They are a solid chip so folks who want edge spots will have to look elsewhere (or create your own spots on the chips)
• Mold - The mold has a dice on it. It does not bother me really, but to some this is a major issue (Dice chip phobia???)
